School Days

I had the honor a couple of weeks ago to take some pictures at the Christian school I attended.

It was enjoyable sitting in and taking photos; brought back so many memories of a childhood past.

Thankfulness Part II

Today I am thankful for the promises of God.

As a teenager I was challenged by a Youth Pastor, to take 

time and go through the Bible claiming God's promises.

It was such a joy to find so very many passages that not only are a comfort in time of trial,

but that also are direct promises of God.

This passage in particular is a reminder in my life that the Lord is my helper, and my strength.

He will never leave me - and for that I am truly grateful.

Thankfulness Part 1

For the month of November I thought I would incorporate into my scripture pictures things I am thankful for.

Today I am thankful for direction.

I often have wondered how those without Christ make it through life without this.

How does one know what career path to take?

If they should take a job offer?

Who they should date?

If they should marry them?

Should they make an offer on that house?

So many questions and as a Christian I don't have to have all the answers right now.

I just have to keep Him first and He will direct - and for that I am truly grateful.

I was going through my pictures and came across these.

There were shot about 2 months ago and never shared.

I was able to go to a 5 year old's pirate themed birthday party and had blast

snapping pics of little kiddos!

they are too fun!

I am not a worrier by nature, but as of late, due to circumstances I have found myself worrying.  Worrying over things that I know the Lord does not want me to.  Things that are in HIS control.  

A while back in college I did a study of this verse and learned that those words - Be careful for nothing - mean DON'T WORRY.  Worry only spoils a life which otherwise would be useful and beautiful to the Lord.

What a blessing it is to find answers to every day problems in God's Word!
