For Brooke

For today's scripture picture I used one of my sister's favorite verses along with her favorite colors for an inspiration board.

product recommendations:

Recently I received my first photo book via my publisher.  I was highly impressed with the quality of the product and they are definitely a company I will be using in the future.  Despite the higher prices, My Publisher is very much worth it!

And then I was able to get an awesome deal on a program I have long been coveting after...

Lightroom 3 is such a wonderful editing program and I am so glad I finally own it; as opposed to using the 30 day trial under multiple user names!  :)  It makes such a huge difference in editing and it is very easy to use.
Go here to try the 30 day trial...

3 Sisters and Their Families

My piano teacher, Mrs E along with her family and two sisters and their families met me at Coffee Creek where we endured the heat and took a multitude of pictures.  I had a lot of fun with these three sisters and I couldn't help but think of my two sisters and look forward to the day when we are all grown up with families of our own!

The eldest and her family:

 The Wilsons:

The lovely Mrs. E and her family

And the youngest, Deb who was both of my sisters' teacher in elementary school.

 Aren't their kids adorable?
They were yelling, "Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!", in this one :)

The whole group:

The cousins:

3 Gorgeous Sisters!

Yep, there is always an ornery one in the bunch...;)

Such a great group to work with!

My favorite set of subjects

These two young ladies are my most eager subjects.
I have practiced countless times on them and they will do exactly what I say,
plus their own improvising!

May I present:::

my sisters!

This is my favorite shot from the past week and I am linking up for Sweet Shot Tuesday.

Texture Tuesday.  I don't usually apply textures to people pictures, but I think it looks okay...thoughts?

there's something about carrying a camera...

that makes you notice things around you that were never noticed before.

It is like seeing with new eyes.

Earth laughs in flowers.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

People from a planet without flowers,
would think we must be mad with joy
the whole time to have such things about us.
Iris Murdoch

God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone,
but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.
